Hello Brian,
Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.
I understand that you want to know if it is needed to reinstall SBS 2K3
Server after remove CALs. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let
me know.
Based on my knowledge, you do not need to reinstall the SBS 2K3 Server
after remove CALs.
[Note]: KB article 194065 has similar steps for resetting License Manager
Information on the SBS 2003 Server.

I recently installed a SBS 2003 std server.
I ordered 5 extra user CAL's
My vendor purchsed 5 user and 5 device CAL's
Both the device and user CAL's were installed and activated.
I had to get an RMA and all of the licenses need to be returned.
I received the replacement for the 5 user CAL's
My question....Can I remove all of these license's without reinstalling
Server? regedit?
