Hi Partner,
Thanks for posting here.
From your post, I understand you can't access OWA from internet.
Please check the following info for further research:
1. Do you have any hardware firewall or Router in front of your SBS Server?
Please check if TCP port is opened on that device. On an internet client ,
run "telnet <ip or FQDN> 443" and you should get a blank screen with a
blinking cursor if port 443 is properly forwarded. Else you will see the
following error:
Connecting To <xxx>...Could not open connection to the host, on port
443: Connect failed
2. When you ran the CEICW to publish OWA, what's the name you entered in
"Web server name" in the "Web Server Certificate' page? Can you ping that
name from an internet client?
Please perform the following steps to check your configuration:
A. Click Start on your SBS server, click Server Management.
B. Click To Do List and then click "Connect to the Internet".
C. Click Next, select connection type and click Next.
D. Select Enable firewall and click Next. Ensure E-mail is selected and
Click Next.
E. Click Next, go through the steps until the Web Services Configuration
page shows, make sure that "Outlook Web Access" is selected.
F. Go through the steps until the Web Server Certificate page shows. Select
"Create a new Web server certificate", and type your FQDN (mail.domain.com)
in the "Web server name" text box.
G. Go through the steps until the Internet E-mail page shows, select
"Enable Internet e-mail" and click Next.
H. Select either "Use DNS to route e-mail" or "Forward all e-mail to e-mail
server at your ISP". If you select the latter, enter the ISP SMTP server.
Click Next.
I. Specify to receive e-mail using one or both of the following methods:
- POP3 Mailboxes
- Exchange
Click Next.
J. Enter your e-mail domain name and click Next.
K. Go through the steps to finish the wizard.

If your hardware firewall supports UPnP, the CEICW will open port 443
automatically. If not, make sure the ports mentioned in the following
document are properly forwarded to your SBS server
