Re: ISA Server alert: A resource allocation failure has occurred. For example, insufficient memory resources.

I really would advice to install SP1 as soon as possible. After you have
done this I would also advice to install the Exchange service pack to extend
your 16 GB limit - among other things.

As to your other question, you can influence the startup of services by
making them depended on other services.

Thanks I have unchecked it and now no errors.

How do I enable auto discovery without these problems or will this still
happen with ISA 2004? As I have SBS 2k3 SP1 media but have not had chance
to install, if necessary i will do so shortly.

Thanks
B

This could be a result of having "Publish Auto Discovery Information"
checkbox selected in the property page of the ISA. If the IIS starts
before
the ISA it can't bind. Uncheck the box and see if you still get the
warning.
If you still get it, maybe some other program is using the port.

Hi

We have started to recieve these errors from our server but:

1 ISA appears to be running correctly and no one has any problems
accessing
the internet.
2 There is plenty of memory available

Configuration sbs 2k3, exchange sp2.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks
B
