Problem using folder redirection and TweakUI automatic logon

I have been using folder redirection and tweakui to automatically log on shop-floor computers for a couple of years with our SBS2003 premium server. I have started running in to problems with some of the Windows XP computers that I have been migrating to the shop-floor computers. The problem is that windows logs on too quick and does not connect to the network to load the desktop icons and start menu items. Searching around Microsoft's site and others I thought the problem may be related to Windows XP Fast Logon Optimization and I tried to disable it via group policy "Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\ Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" but it did not appear to have any effect ( i tired both the enabled and disabled setting ) . Is there any way to make Windows XP wait before using Tweakui's automatic logon or is there another way around this? I need to have the computers log on by themselves because trying to explain how to use a shift+anykey is more than some of the people on our shop-floor can handle let alone 3 keys at the same time ctrl+alt+del.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

Tony
