Steven,
again thank you for your response. I will give you the steps I follow when
Rerunning the CEICW
1.) Open CEICW from the "Server Management" To Do List"
2.) click next
3.) On "Connection Type" window I select "Do not change connection type"
4.) click next
5.)on "Firewall" Window I selcet "Enable Firewall" then click next
6.)On the services Configuration" window I select all services and click next
7.) on the Web Services Configuration" window I select "Allow access to only
the following web services from the internet". Then all items in the list are
selected. thenI click next
8.)in "Web Server Certificate" I select "Create a new Web Server Certificate"
9.) in the "Web server Name" I enter
"libertyrs-main.libertyrecordsearch.com" then clikc next
10.) On the Internet email window I select "Do not change internet email
configuration". then click next
11.) then click finish
12.) The configuration screen appears.
13.) "Network Configuration" gets a Green check mark
14.) "Firewall Configuration" gets a RED X and a warning or error screen
appears stating "An error occurred while configuring a component. To continue
with the Wizard and configure the remaining components, click OK. To end the
Wizard without configuring the remaining components, click cancel." I select
"OK".
15.) "Secure Web Site Configuration" gets a RED X and the same screen
appears as in step 14. Again I select "OK"
16.) the final item "Email configuration" get a GREEN check mark.
17.) i then clock "Close" and the wizard ends.
I check the Regestry entry as you suggested and found the default value of
"IIS://LOCALHOST/W3SVC/4" Just as you predicted. When I ran the "Metabase
Explorer" and went to servername->LM -> W3SVC. I found no entry for "company
web" there.
Hope this helps.

Hi,.
Thank you for your prompt response.
Based on current information, please provide the following detail
information to narrow down this issue:
1. Please let me know which error message you received when you configure
CEICW.
2. Please let me know whether you are using web server certificate on your
server. This issue may caused by web server certificate is corrupted, if
so; please use the CEICW to generate a new certificate to solve this issue.
3. Please checking the registry for the path for the companyweb registry
key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Intranet\companywe
bpath
By default, this value data is: "IIS://LOCALHOST/W3SVC/4".
Please run the Metabase explore to view the current companyweb path value
in IIS, to do so:
1). On Windows SBS Server, install .NET Framework Version 1.1:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-
8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=en.
2). Install MBExplorer by installing IIS 6 Resource Kit Tools:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-
B628-ADE629C89499&displaylang=en.
3). Once it is installed, access it from Start, Programs, IIS Resources,
Metabase Explorer.
4). <your server name> -> LM -> W3SVC, please check the current companyweb
value data.
If the current registry key companywebpath value didn't match the
Companyweb Identifier listed in IIS. Please Changed the Registry key to
match the Identifier value listed in IIS.
Please let me know the result above so that I can provide further
assistance on this issue. I am looking forward to your reply.
Have a good day.
Best Regards,
Steven Zhu
