Drect Update is a 3rd party tool.
http://www.directupdate.net/
It's quite possible that the tool you have could be persuaded to work
through ISA, I just haven't tried it. You might try setting proxy settings
and point the proxy to 127.0.0.1 instead of your internal IP. I seem to
remember this effecting some programs on ISA2000, not sure about 2004.
The other one to try is specifying the proxy credentials with/without the
NETBIOS domain name, either as 'user' or 'domain\user'.

Running SBS 2003 Premium with SP1.
===============================
I got a DDNS service (www.dyndns.org) a few weeks ago and it's working
fine. I screwed up by not setting it to auto-start when I re-boot the
server, so it's been off for 2 weeks. I installed ISA 2004 last
work.am installing WSUS today. I noticed the DDNS client icon was missing
while waiting for WSUS to do it's first synch, so I started the program
up and set it to auto-start. Then I tried to re-set the IP - won't
serviceWent into the settings and set it for the proxy server (now that I have
ISA), with my login and password - same result.
Has anyone else out there had this problem with either this DDNS
or one like it? How'd you fix it?
