Re: ISA2004 SP2 for SBS2003 SP1

I don't think there is a special version.

I didn't see ISA2004 SP2 via WSUS either (but I did see 916106?). Just
download it manually and install ISA SP2, reboot. Make sure all is OK and
then download 916106 and install, reboot again and you should be good to go.

Dear Susan and Al

Thank you for responding.
By the way I am using an English version of SBS.

From the threads I was reading, I got the impression that a special versin
for SBS2003 would be relesed, and that this special release would be
distebuted by WUS.
Now I understand that I was wrong, and the solution is standart ISA2004
SP2 and a patch.

Do this standart ISA2004 SP2 and 916106 patch, change or corupts any of my
ISA settings.
Is there at paper on what to avoid, or anny pitfals that will happen when
installing, especially changes to the firewall rules or ISA setup.

Kind regards
Niels Koldborg

It wasn't clear from some of threads that that was the final issue, but
I'll take your word on it as you're the diva. I'll wait on it a while as
916106 was just released last week...

The problem with the patch is that the patch doesn't reboot the box.

What other issues are you seeing? (headlines please?)

I personally have held off installing ISA SP2 until MS gets all the
issues out (certain web sites not working, log file issues, compresion
issues). There has been one subsequent patch (916616) but I still see
problems in the NG so I'm waiting. I don't see anything in that SP2
release critical for SBS sites IMHO.
