Lawrence Garvin spotted the problem. Trailing blank on the urls in the GPO!
Boy, do I feel silly. Thanks to you all for trying to help me sort this out
and sorry if I wasted your time. Big lesson for me, though.

I have given up trying to make this work on a particular server and now
want to remove all trace of it. Do I merely reverse the steps used to
install on SBS? Is there a risk that something might get broken during the
