Hi All,
I've been unable to determine the (probably obvious) place from which RAS
gets it's IP address to assign to PPTP connections. Any hints? Is it under
my nose?
Yes it is, I'm afraid, though I don't have access to an SBS at the
moment. It should be somewhere in the RRAS configuration in the Advanced
section of server management.
By default, the addresses come from the main DHCP scope, and if you
change this there will be almost no connectivity available over VPN.
Connections will be limited to SBS only. By all means change it if this
is what you need.
