RE: NT Backup inconsistent medium

Hi

You have to know I am going to say there is something wrong with the tape
drive or tape drivers. It seems like an obvious statement especially since
you can write the backup to the hard drive.

But to help you get the issue resolved what I would like is the

Brand
Make
Model

of the tape device.

| Hi We use a Windows SBS 2003 server and the NTbackup utility. We usd it

| We cannot follow this, tapes and drive are brandnew and even we swapped

| hardware. The d-drive is just a harddrive.

| The weird things is that if we do exact the same backup prodedure to a
| folder on the c - drive (a file backup) everything works fine. However we
| want to backup to tape.
