Yes i do have it on becuase when i had it off i was getting NDR Relay not
allowed when i e-mailed that domain, and then when i e-mailed that domain
that error was logged in. This error shows up if e-mail goes through or if
the e-mail doesn't go through. The issue with this domain that i have is
that it get denied once in a while and then it goes through.

AFAIK, it's a non-issue - something to do with servers talking to each.
other, not agreeing on something. Note the 'probably' in cause the
connection to fail.
In fact, the connection 'probably' didn't fail, and the email was delivered.
Have you got SMTP logging turned up at all? I see this error all the time if
I have SMTP logging turned on. I generally don't turn it on unless trying to
troubleshoot, and then turn it off again. When off, the error isn't present.

Ok This issue has been going on for few days, Called in the ISP checked
DNS
and MX records etc.
WHen i try to e-mail my client (domain peleeisland.com,
mx=smtp.peleeisland.com) i get NDR 550 5.7.1 exchange logs tells me this.
This used to work untill now.
This is what Exchange logging gives me
This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection #4.
The remote host "216.8.139.135", responded to the SMTP command "xexch50"
with
"504 Need to authenticate first ". The full command sent was "XEXCH50
1916 2
". This will probably cause the connection to fail.
This is can go for 2 days or work right away on and off
Today i got another error
diffrent client
Exchange logged this error
This is an SMTP protocol error log for virtual server ID 1, connection #3.
The remote host "204.101.190.14", responded to the SMTP command "rcpt"
with
"550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for jeff@xxxxxxxx ". The full command sent was
"RCPT TO:<jeff@xxxxxxxx> ". This will probably cause the connection to
fail.
After 3rd retry it went through with out a hitch.
Is this my Exchange cuasing this problem, and how come all of sudden just
started doing that right now?
My domain is mbcsolutions.net, mx=mail.mbcsolutions.net
can anyone tell me why sometimes my exchange get authenticated on client
server and it goes through and why sometimes it doesn't?
