I can confirm that I'm seeing the same extra characters in posts I've been making this past week when I look at them through my default news reader, but I can at least see the messages. Those characters are triggering some odd behavior in some news readers, but the bottom line is that those characters definitely should not be there, so, like Frank, I'm done beating on that client for a bit. I'll jump back in when we get an update.

Thanks for bringing this out, dvw, and to the others who provided the descriptions of the behavior so we could narrow down what is happening.
