It's not a good idea, but you've got a couple of threads on the same
subject.

Thanks.
So basically it is a bad idea to add a new exchange 2k3 server to the
current SBS 2003 exchange organisation for migration.
what a pain.

Hi all,
Just wondering what the potential risks are with adding a new W2K3
server
running Exchange 2003 to a current working Exchange organisation.
The principle objective is to migrate exchange. I thought about doing
this
by adding a new exchange server to the organisation, configure all the
services and migrate user data on to the new server. Finally
decomissioning
the old exchange installation
are there any problems with doing this?
Yes.
I am not sure whether the SBS
implementation of Exchange is constrained to a single exchange server
in
the
organisation.
No.
