Greetings group
I administer a SBS 2003 server. When it was initially set up, we moved
a production CRM software and database called Junxure to it. We were
unable to create a new MSDE instance on the machine that day so I
allowed Junxure tech support to attach the db to the running instance
of SBSMONITORING which worked for awhile. With this software comes MSDE
admin. I created a couple of daily backup jobs for the db using MSDE
admin. Eventually we had problems with the db and at that point created
a new MSDE instance for Junxure and moved the db to it. At the time I
didn't think about deleting the daily backup jobs before moving the db.
Now in the application log I see errors every day when these backup
jobs try to run on a db that is no longer attached to the SBSMONITORING
instance.
How do I use MSDE Admin to open SBSMONITORING and kill the jobs? I
don't know what credentials it is running under. I've tried changing
the credentials that the service runs under with no success. Or is
there another method?
