Hi Keith,
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
As I know, damaged system files may be caused by a hardware issue. You may
need to contact your hardware vendor for a check. Also as for this issue,
due to the complexity of this issue, we are unable to assist with this
request in newsgroup. To save your time, you may need to contact CSS for
better support.
A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Product Support Services via
telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your
request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged
call. However, if you are simply requesting a hotfix be sent to you and no
other support then charges are usually refunded or waived.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.

If you are outside the US please see http://support.microsoft.com for
regional support phone numbers.
Thanks for your understanding!
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)

| Hi there I've got a SBS system that was left switched on at a clients
| office while there was some electrical work going on(I know, I know.
| I've given them the third!)
|
| Basically the hard drive has created some errors, there are a few
| damaged system files but as far as I can see most of the system is
| working. Is there anyway/or tool like SFC that would scan my system and
| replace the damaged files with the originals on the SBS media?
|
| Thanks for any advice.
|
| Keith.
