Re: SBS 2003 New user does not appear in Public mail group.

Hi Haakon,

The SBS 2003 SP1 has been released. It is recommended that we apply the
whole SBS 2003 SP1 to the SBS server box.

The whole SBS 2003 SP1 package disks including:

A. Windows Server 2003 SP1
B. Windows SharePoint Services SP1
C. Exchange Server 2003 SP1
D. Outlook 2003 SP1 (applies to each client)
E. Windows XP SP2 (applies to each client)
F. Active Sync 3.8 (applies to each client)
G. SBS 2003 SP1
H. SQL Server 2000 SP4 (Premium only)
I. ISA 2004 (Premium only)

I suggest that take a look at the following site to get detail steps about
the SBS 2003 SP1.

Installing Windows SBS 2003 with SP1, "Getting Started" at the Microsoft
Web site (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=51143

And also the Exchange 2003 SP2 has been released. After you ensure you have
applied the SBS 2003 sp1, you can apply the Exchange SP2.

Note: please carefully take a look at the SP 2 release note, before apply
the exchange sp2.

Hi Haakon,

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.

From your description, I am not sure what group you means. Could you
describe me more detail about your situation? Do you mean that the new

When you create new user with Add user wizard, did you get any error
message? If yes, please let me know the exact error message.

Also please send the add_user_wizard.log file in the "%Program
