Re: VPN and remote desktop questions

On the remote client, right click the VPN connectoid, select Properties |
Networking | Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) | Properties | Advanced | DNS (tab)
| DNS server addresses in order of use | Add the LAN IP address of the SBS
server (on a default install it's 192.168.16.2)

Does that fix the problem?

You shouldn't have to touch the RRAS console (SBS's wizards take care of
that for you). You do the port forwarding in the modem-router. The
modem-router manual should explain how to do it.

This link may also help...

Port Forward (select your router)

Thanks Merv.
Where do I do the port forwarding? Is it from within Routing and Remote
Access console? Or from ISP-provided modem-router?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot Merv.
I still have problem with part 2 of my question:

On another server which still has one NIC, I can establish a VPN
connection from a client PC (I get an IP, I can ping the server, ..)
but when, on the
client, I try to map a drive to a share I get error that the path was
not found. Same thing happens if I open a browser and type server's IP.

TIA.
