Thanks Dave. What about DNS? I'm not concern about external internet. Just
have another server on the network that they need to authenticate and be
able to resolve the net bios name.

You shouldn't have any DHCP issues. You can see the lease expirations in
the DHCP console on the SBS, but even if a lease expires I think the
workstation will continue to use the address until it reaches the DHCP
server again.

I'm going to be taking my SBS 2003 server offline for a few hours so that
we can do some hardware repairs. I've configured a desktop as a Windows
2003 server backup domain controller to be used temporary while we do
maintainence. Should I, or do I need to, configure DHCP with the same
scope and enable it now? Or will the currently assigned leases be valid
for a few hours?
