RE: Problems with roaming profiles

Hi,

Thanks for posting here.

From your post, my understanding on this issue is: the client logon the
domain via the new laptop and later logged off, but when the client back
onto the workstation use the same user account, the client find some user
settings (email contacts/Home page on browser¡) lost. If I am off base,
please feel free to let me know.

Based on the information I have now, I would appreciate your help in
gathering more information so that I can perform a specific analysis first.
Please let me know the following:

1. Please let me know whether the client change something on new laptop.

2. Please let me know whether the client logon the domain on new laptop
again, does this issue disappear?

3. Please create the new user account and configure the roaming profile,
use this new user account logon the new laptop and later log off. Please
logon the workstation again, does the issue disappear?

Please let me know the above information so that I can provide further
assistance on this issue. I am looking forward to your reply.

Have a nice day.

Best Regards,

Steven Zhu
