I don't know about any resources, if you don't have Enterprise Manager you
can get the Enterprise version for about £50, (although that was before
SQL2005 came out). When using Enterprise manager it is simple though, just
right click on the database you want to backup, select all tasks and click
backup database, you can specify a location and schedule there.

No...I don't know how to create a job using Enterprise Manager. I was
looking
at an OSQL script that wasn't working on anything but the C drive.
Thanks...I'll take a look at Enterprise...any references I can research?

location (including network locations if you want).

How can I successfully back up a database on the server to a different
drive
and folder? I've read something about an 'osql' command, but I'm not
sure
if
this works if thedatabase isn't locatedon the C: drive. Any help is
appreciated. Thanks.
