Hi,
I have SBS2K3 SP1 and Symantec Anti Virus 10.0 with Groupare installed at
a clients site. All is going reasonablyexcept for one thing. I have two
client PC's "missing". By missing I mean they do not show up in My
Network Places. They do exist in the Server Management console, DNS and
DHCP. They can connect to all the resources on the network and pick up
their logon scripts, GPO's, etc. I can ping them via IP Address and name.

I cannot connect to the machines via the Manage Computer option in Manage
Client Computers nor can I view Event Logs but I can connect to the XP
machine remotely using RWW and via Terminal Services from the Server
Management console. If I type \\smc4 or \\192.168.100.31 at the Run
dialog box I get the message "The network path was not found".

One PC is Win2K Pro SP4 the other is XP Pro SP2.

Can anyone assist in getting these PC's recognised by the network?
