I wish to make and use the Roaming Profiles service for workers in my
company
who access few diffrent machines everyday, I've already know how to make
the
Roaming Profiles in Active Directory. But what I wish to know is:
Is there a way to make a Roaming Profiles settings in GPO?
Just like if we're going to make Home Folder redirection in GPO. The idea
is
to reduce the effort and time when IT administrators have to open the
user's
profiles tab in it's properties window.
Thank you.
I don't know exactly what you mean. If you want to enable roaming profiles
for a user, you just need to make sure they have
\\myserver\profileshare\%username% in their account properties\profiles tab
(and that the permissions there are set up properly). I usually copy an
existing user when creating new ones, myself, so this isn't a big deal - can
you clarify what it is you're trying to do?
