Then I tried the Dashboard and the Security Settings tab. It is backBased on a suggestion by T-M support, I looked at how the dashboard is
to being a centipede. I went off to the ActiveX test site, the time
showed properly. So, is this a problem that is fixed in SBS2003 SP1?
Now, I am not too concerned, because I can bring up the Dashboard on a
client WinXP computer, and the Security Tab works properly--a veritable
speed demon and the categories are filled, etc.
invoked. The desktop icon actually points to a .url file. (They probably
because jscript can't embed a url in its code, but has to use an external
file.) The .url file references the code to run by using the IP address
of the server. I created a .url file that uses the server name. When I
use an icon that points to the new .url, security settings control runs
properly--i.e., Faster and quicker than the control works on the remote
client.
The remaining problem is a question about administering SMEX. Support
says that when you select the SMEX icon, in the list of categories, you
get a set of administration functions, in front of the security settings
control, when you click the security button. I get a 404-file not found
page. But when I select the default server category, and then click
configure, I get the following list of functions: AntiVirus, Firewall,
Desktop Privileges, and Quarantine. Are these the SMEX configuration
functions?
