RE: Printer settings coult not be saved.

Hello Dave,

Thank you for posting back!

I understand that you cannot remove the HP Deskjet 1120C software from the
Add/Remove Programs. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me
know.

Please explain in detail "in add remove programs there is an entry for the
hp 1120c, which using the remove button will not be removed". What exact
scenario you are in:

a. Remove the drive software in the Add/Remove Programs but the icon still
appears in Add/Remove Programs.

OR

b. When you trying to remove the drive software in Add/Remove Programs, you
encounter error message.

If it is scenario a:

Please go to your hard disk and check whether the drive folder still
exists.

If it is scenario b:

What is the exact error message? Please type the error message word by word
the Newsgroup.

At the same time, I also suggest that you:

1. Change back the "system policy" settings and test the issue again.
2. Schedule a down time to boot your SBS Server into the Safe mode and test
the issue gain.

Please take your time to perform the steps and I am looking forward to
hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee

hi brandy,
thanks for your help so far, but unfortunatly that didn't seem to solve
the
problem.

i removed the printer and followed your instructions, but in add remove
programs there is an entry for the hp 1120c, which using the remove button
will not be removed.
at this point i'm beginning to think it's best i either system restore to
before i messed it up or, start again. obviously being the server i was
trying to avoid it.

thanks alot for your help

Dave
