RE: Monitoring Database Fails every now and then...

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Crina,

That's where the whole problem begins.... sometimes the server just hangs
and the only thing that helps is a reboot....

after the reboot we can only see the event (can not connect to the
monitoring database....) in the eventviewer...

Does this info help ??

With regards,

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

Thanks for your update.

You can perform a clean boot when the situation occurs and see if it helps.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

| Hello Crina,
|
| I've read you're solution and i noticed that in this solution you disable
| all the third party services and applications.
|
| When i preform this solution the anti-virus, anti-spyware and back-up
| solutions from CA stop running. I think this is not to be recommended
since
| this problem occurs now and then (mostly once in two or three weeks). So
we
| have to run the server two or three weeks without virus-spyware or a
backup
| software..... is that what you mean ?
|
| Waiting for your reply...
|
| Thanks in advance.
