RE: Drives disconnect at 18:15 every day

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi Mart,

Thanks for posting here.

From your post, my understanding on the issue is: the network driver auto
disconnect at 18:15 every day on the workstation. If I am off base, please
feel free to let me know.

Based on my research, I suggest you try the following steps to solve this
issue:

1. This problem can be caused if the auto disconnect on idle time is
configured. To workaround the issue, you can change the default time-out
period for the auto disconnect feature.

For additional information, please refer to the following knowledge base
article:

2. Some third party programs can cause Mapped drive to disconnect, If you
have Compaq programs or other similar network monitor tools installed on
your client computer, please uninstall them. To do so, please refer to the
following knowledge base article:

Some Compaq Programs Cause Mapped Drives to Be Disconnected

I hope the above information helps.

Have a nice day.
