Maggi,
I'd try to convince your customer that hosting his own email is the
best way to go. You can setup a second MX record, of lower priority,
to point to the ISP as backup. That way 99% of the time email is
delivered directy, but in that 1% case email will still be delivered to
the ISP that can be retrieved when the local issue (internet connection
down, power outage, etc.) is cleared up.

I have a customer that need to have his email quickly than the 15 minutes
delay and his business relay on that. He does'n want to host his own pop3
email and want to use pop3 connector (hi is afraid that the sbs server
goes
down and wants to be capable to get his email from the isp in this case.)
an someone help me to work around this issue ?
I already read something in the newsgroup talking about changing the
settings in the registry but this solution is not supported by Microsoft
and
I do'nt want to be in trouble.
