Hi All,
I have an SBS2003 setup with Roaming Profiles and Remote Folders setup
for all company users. Its been working great without a hitch for over
a year now.
Suddenly, one of our Users has a corrupted profile. Her "Desktop" and
"Start Menu" folders try to merge the Administrators, and vice versa
happens when the Administrator (me) logs in. Very confused what
happened here. Does anyone know? This only happens when she logs into
a particuliar machine, so I did try doing a full reinstallation of
Windows XP with that particuliar workstation but was only partialy
successful. Windows installed and the sync errors were gone, but I
have MS Office and Outlook pushed out via Group Policy upon log in, but
it doesnt seem to want to install automatically when she logs in. Thus
she has a workstation with all her word files, but she can't open them
as Office won't install on the computer. Very frustrating!
So I guess I need to fix her roaming profile and remote folders on the
server in some way. Does anyone know how to do this? I tried
accessing the roaming profile on the server, but it gives me a
permissions error about not being authorized to access it. I'm so very
confused here.
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
