either that or just browse to the file through 'My network places', rt-clk
on the file, send to desktop (create shortcut).

On SBS2003 it's then sometimes a pain to et the link to the other party,
default attachment stripping will remove it. ZIP comes to mind.

If you mean a link to a folder on the SBS network... (I'm assuming the
remote user has a LAN workstation he is accessing with Remote Web
Workplace)

+ On the server, (rt. click) Start | Explore
+ Reduce the size ofthe Windows Explorer window so that you can see the
server desktop behind it
+ Navigate to the folder on the network
+ In the Address field, there is a small "open" folder icon to the left
of the path to the folder. Left click and drag this folder icon to the
server's desktop.
+ Then copy this icon to the user's User Shared folder
+ The remote user can now start an RWW session and log onto his office
workstation
+ From his workstation, the user can open his User Shared folder and
drag the icon to his desktop.

How can I email someone a network link rather than describing to them
the long, long path to get there? Something they could just click on and
keep on their desktop?

Thanks.

Bryce.
