After the first two replies I thought I understood!
Just to clarify my scenario......
We dont use the SBServer as our domain or e-mail host - We have quite
a few domains and these all point to a server host, where we also keep
our POP3 mailboxes (I've so far avoided all the recommendations from
SBS folks to move the mailbox hosting to the SBServer!).
So the SBServer goes and collects the POP3 mail, then distributes.
Remote access to the SBS is restricted to Outlook Web Access for our
users when travelling, or exchange access for our Notebook users when
off-site (obviously with a static IP address on our ADSL service).
So the choice seems to be either a second ADSL line or Cable Internet
access, with the Load Balancing Router doing the balancing, monitoring
etc.
I dont think I need to worry about the IP address changeover in the
event of a failure (and for our remote access I'll just give the users
a second static IP to use in the event of problems).
Is this correct or have I missed an important part of the jigsaw?
Thanks again,
JohnK
p.s. I was tempted to say everything was going swimmingly until the
additional replies took me out of my depth!!
