RE: fax cover sheet always empty - need last call made

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi Sleb,

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup.

From your description, I understand that you have some concerns about the
fax cover page. If I am off base, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Before we go any further, please kindly help me collect some information to
isolate the issue:

1. What is your mean of the sentence "the cover sheet appears with fields
empty as before those fields had the last information they entered from the
last fax sent."? Could you describe more detail about your current
situation?

2. Which fields are empty on the cover page? When we send fax, we need
follow Send Fax Wizard to input recipient information such as user name,
fax number, location and choose a specific cover page template, fax subject
and the fax main content every time. It is normal behavior.

3. What you used to send fax? Fax console or Outlook? Could you help me
collect some screen shots to show your concerns?

I appreciate your time. I am happy to be of assistance to you and look
forward to your reply.

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Jenny Wu

Hi,

Before migrating from sbs 2000 to sbs 2003 (new server, new installation,
new domain, etc...), when people we're sending faxes from their
workstation
(shared fax was configured on the sbs 2000), they always had the last
information they entered (fax number, name, etc...). Now, with shared fax
on
sbs, when people print their documents to the fax, the cover sheet appears
with fields empty as before those fields had the last information they
entered from the last fax sent.

How can I make it work like before?

Thanks

.
