Ugh...RWW and CompanyWeb link

My basic goal is to have my users access RWW and all the links work. But
it's that damn Company web that's giving me problems.
Ok...I've figured out how to change the links on the CompanyWeb to the
correct external FQDN, so accessing the site and all it's links work fine,
using https with the SSL port at the end.
However the link on the main RWW page still reflects http://companyweb
causing a error when accessing remotely (which is why you'd be using RWW).
I've altered the default.htm in the wwwroot folder as microsoft recommends,
however the webserver is still serving up the http://companyweb link.
Anyone know how to change this. Essentially, I'd like remote users of RWW
to be able to access the internal web without having to a separate web
address with :444 at the end.
