Thanks for the reply.
What I was hoping to do was something like this
companyA.co.uk (primary company owning server)
-userA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userA
-userB@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userB
....
companyB.co.uk (company sharing resources on the server)
- userC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userC
- userD@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userD
....
companyC.co.uk (company sharing resources on the server)
- userC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userC
- userD@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx login: userD
.....
userA and userB belong to companyA. SBS will be setup with companyA as
primary company. companyA.localcompanyA
Exchange will make user of the POP3 connector to collect mail from
companyA's ISP mailboxes (temporary measure hopefully)
The dynamic IP will be overcome with the user of dyndns.org to give
users access to the Remote Web Workplace.companyA
This bit is quite easy I think.
2-10 other users will be sharing the office but are not members of
they are simultaniously members of companyB and companyC (sisterappriate
organisations). They will be given logins on the local domain to access
storage space on the server and also other network resources.
This is also an easy bit
My understanding is that I can setup POP connectors to get email from a
catch-all mailbox on companyB's ISP's server and another one on the ISP's
server hosting companyC's mail and get exchange to deliver mail to
mailboxes for users that have multiple SMTP addresses.to
Problem is. How can they send from multiple addresses. e.g. userC might
need to send an email from userC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and 2 minutes later need
send an email from userC@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxworkplace
I'm also planning that users will be able to access the remote web
using address format https://<IP_ADDRESS>/remote is there anything I
should bear in mind about this with users of companyB and companyC wanting
to access OWA from the RWW page? I've seen a few posts that suggest there
will be some problems.
TIA
Russ
