I am new to SBS 2003 and Exchange. I am hoping to get some very good
advise and answers to my questions here. I need to learn SBS as I go.
I have done the complete setup in SBS with all of the Wizards on the
To-Do list. The server has one NIC, a 24 port switch on the network and
A 2Wire modem/router. The 2Wire is handling the DHCP and Firewall.

I have just finished setting up Exchange Server email on 2003 SBS.
Exchange is collecting the mail from the pop account. Because all test
messages are not on the pop account after Exchange collects them. I
think it is distributing the mail to the internal mail boxes. I did set
the routing.
But the problem is after setting up the Outlook 2003 on the client
computer, the client does not receive the mail. It shows that Outlook
has connected to Exchange and is waiting to update folder, but still no
messages. I was told 2 different ways to set the TCP/IP on the client
Nic. One is to Obtain an IP address automatically, and Obtain DNS
server
address automatically. The other is to Obtain an IP address
automatically, and Use the following DNS server address, which is the
SBS address. When I do either I do not get any mail. When I do the Use
the following DNS I have no Internet access.
Any suggestions to correct this ?
