Hello Russ,
Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.
I understand that have three companies sharing one SBS Server, but the SBS
Server does not have a Static IP address. You want to know how to configure
E-mail address for users. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let
me know.
Actually, SBS 2K3 Serve is designed for one Company rather than sharing
among several companies. Also, we suggest that assign a static Public IP
address for the SBS Server. For your scenario, we suggest that you
configure three static Public IP address for each of the companies. So
users can input their Public Domain Name to browse OWA from the Internet.
However, the configuration is complicated, we suggest that you contact
Microsoft Product Support Services via telephone for a better solution and
a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be
advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call.
To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a
look at the web site listed below.

Thanks a lot for your time and understanding!

Hi there,
I'm about to setup SBS 2003. I'm not exactly new to networking but I am
to SBS 2003.in
Basically there are 3 small startup companies (2 - 3 people in each
organisation) that will share an office and network.
Each organisation as a different domain name registered and are currently
using Outlook to connect to ISP mailboxes to download mail.
companya.net
companyb.co.uk
companyc.com
The internet connection does not have a static IP (although will plan to
future).to
All users will probably be quite mobile and may want to collect email from
home or on the move. OWA would suit so VPN's not necessary.
2 users share their time between 2 of the organisations and so will want
send and recieve email from from 2 accounts.multiple
I'm just looking for some ideas on how to best plan to deal with this.
If no server existed the users needing to collect email from multiple POP3
mailboxes and send email from multiple addresses would simply have
email accounts setup in Outlook.remote
The propblem of no static IP and getting to the server home page from
locations can temporarily be overcome by using dyndns.org
But what about introducing Exchange into this scenario so that OWA can be
used from remote locations?
Collecting from multiple POP3 mailboxes on ISP servers and delivering to
users?
Allowing users to send from multiple accounts (companya.net &
companyb.co.uk) through Exchange?
Are then any good step by step guides to do any of these tasks out there?
TIA
Russ
