Re: Managing outlook shares?

Except ... not. If I want to see bob's calendar, bob having a public folder calendar isn't going to work since he can't get reminders and he can't sync that to his pda/smartphone, etc. etc. etc. Bob may need different personal calendars for himself. Or he may need different contacts folders. And then, they may need to be shared. Bob needs what he gets from having it as a personal folder for himself but still needs to share it.

By default, no, administrator can't open someone's calendar (for example) and change the share permissions.

the way to share calenders and address books is Public Folders

But I believe that the Administrator can pretty much access any of a Users folders (unless the user is using a .pst file)

Is there a way the administrator (or someone with some special permissions)
can easily manage shares in outlook?

For example, I add a few users and I need to share their calendar and task
list and notes with their group. The only way I know how to do this is to
use outlook!

Also, is there a way to share sub folders? For example, if a client has
multiple address books, can he share the 2nd and 3rd address books?
