synchronisation nightmare
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Hi Folks,
We have recently had a mini-diaster with our server (Windows SBS 2003),
running exchange.
To cut a long story short:
1 file server with mirrored hard drive
clients (WinXPpr) with 'my documents' redirecting to mirror on server,
and availible offline.
My documents was moved to server C:\ to replace corrupt mirror.
Drives replaced, 'my documents' moved back to mirror drives.
Now, clients reconnected, synchronised, and now all there files have
gone! I can't find them anywhere. I have searched the server and local
machines. I have found some in the 'view offline files' options, but
that is all.
I have colleauges snapping at my heels, any ideas??!?!?!
