Hello Crina Li,
We are using Veritas to backup our system, but have a shadow copy scheduled
task for 7:00 am every day.
This morning we received this error in the Server Perormace Report:
Source Event ID Last Occurrence Total Occurrences
ESENT 215 3/9/2006 5:46 AM 10 *
tcpsvcs (7656) The backup has been stopped because it was halted by the
client or the connection with the client failed.
Is this something that needs to be corrected?
Thank you,
RaMo

Hi RaMo,.
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
From the description, I understand the issue to be: you have got ESENT 215
on your server performance report. If I have misunderstood your concerns,
please do not hesitate to let me know.
Actually this issue could occur if you are backing up the system state when
you have Certificate Authority (Certificate Service) installed on the SBS
2003 server. This error event can be safely ignored if backups and restores
are not affected.
Generally, if the NTBACKUP failed, considering the ESENT 215 event, this
issue may occur if Sqlvdi.dll file that has been unregistered
