Problems with network printer

We have a Xerox 860 with a static IP. It was on an USP port but we
decided to move it to the network. We assigned a static IP
(10.10.10.45) and installed it on a standard IP port.
The print is visible but doesn't print... we get print fail message.
I can ping it, I can manage it with http://10.10.10.45 or by it's name
http://xerox
I'm sure I missed something somewhere
