suggestions and let me know the result.

Additionally please let me know the following information:

1. During the SBS 2003 SP installation, did you receive any error message?
2. Have you another SBS 2003 installation CDs? If yes, please try to
install it again with the other CDs to check if the CDs' faults.

If the issue persists, please help me collect the following information:

1. Please help me collect the following log files for analysis:

a. All files under: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Windows Small
Business Server 2003\Logs

b. To save a text copy of Application /System log:

a). Open Event Viewer: Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools ->
Event Viewer.
b). Right-click on Application/System log and select "Save Log File As?".

2. Please send me the DNS record with following steps.

Send me the DNS record file on your SBS server.

1. In the DNS console, expand your server and the forward Lookup Zones
2. Right click your domain name and click properties
3. In the General tab, please click change
4. Please uncheck the checkbox of "Store the zone in Active Directory"

Hi,

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup!

I am sorry for the delayed response due to weekend. Please understand
that
the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals
to
answer your systems and applications questions. Your understanding is
greatly appreciated!

Regarding the Event ID 13562, it appears that the domain controller is
in
journal wrap. At this point, I''d like to suggest that you reinitialize
FRS:

1. Click "Start", and then click "Run".

2. In the "Open" box, type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) and then
press ENTER.

3. In the "Command" box, type "net stop ntfrs" (without the quotation
marks).

4. Click "Start", and then click "Run".

5. In the "Open" box, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) and
then
press ENTER.

6. Locate the following subkey in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtFrs\Parameters\Backup
/Restore\Process at Startup

7. In the right pane, double-click "BurFlags".

8. In the "Edit DWORD Value" dialog box, type "D2" (without the
quotation
marks) and then click "OK".

9. Quit Registry Editor, and then switch to the "Command" box.

10. In the "Command" box, type "net start ntfrs" (without the quotation
marks).

11. Quit the "Command" box.

12. When the FRS service restarts, the following actions occur:

"The value for BurFlags registry key returns to 0.

"Files in the reinitialized FRS folders are moved to a <Pre-existing>
folder.

"The FRS database is rebuilt.

"The member performs an initial join of the replica set from an upstream
partner or from the computer that is specified in the Replica Set Parent
registry key if a parent has been specified for SYSVOL replica sets.

"The reinitialized computer performs a full replication of the affected
replica sets when the relevant replication schedule begins.

In addition, you may also check the following things.

1. DNS Settings:
------------------
Make sure both the internal and external network adapters are poiting to
the internal IP address as their ONLY DNS server.

2. Network Binding order:
-----------------------------
a. Open "Network Connections", and on the "Advanced" menu, click
"Advanced
Settings".

b. All the local area connections and remote access connections appear
in
the top window that is named "Connections". Use the arrow keys to move
connections to the following order:

Server local area connection (local area network adapter) Network
connection (Internet connection adapter) Any additional network adapters
(Remote access connections)

c. Click "OK".

d. Close the "Network and Dial-up Connections" dialog box, and then
restart
the server.

For more information regarding correct networking configurations, see:

825763 How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server
2003
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825763

If the problem could not be resolved by above steps, please help me
collect
some information for further analyze the issue:

1. What is the version of the SBS server box? Have you applied the SBS
2003
SP1? Or have you upgraded from the SBS 2000?

2. What you have done on the server box before the issue happens?

3. Have you customized your DNS server?

4. Can you find any other event error logged in the Event Viewer?

Hope above information helps! I am happy to be of assistance to you and
look forward to your reply.

Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Jenny Wu
