Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean by "domain account on the server"?
Do you mean the administrator account?
Thanks

Thanks Merv,
Yes I have forwarded 4125 and ran CEICW. Its really kinda strange that it
doesn't work. I've setup sbs dozens of time before.

In the router, have you forwarded port 4125 to the external NIC of the
SBS?
This assumes a 2 NIC + router network. If 1 NIC network, forward to the
single SBS NIC. (And you've run CEICW, enabled the firewall and then
selected the RWW service, right).

Hi,
I inherited a client who has SMB 2003 Standard server behind a NetGear
vpn
router. Whoever setup the server didn't have a clue what they were
doing..
To
make a long story short I can't RDP to the server (SMB2003) from any
where
(inside or outside). I can't even connect to it from the server
management.
Whenever I try I get:
The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections
might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new
connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing
your
connection. Please try connecting again later. If the problem continues
to
occur, contact your administrator.
OR:
Connectivity to the remote computer could not be established. Ensure
that
the remote computer is on and connected to the Windows Small Business
Server
network.
I've ran the Internet Connection Wizard and can get to RWW pages but
when
I
click on the server I get one of the above messages.
One other thing I noticed is they only have a five user license and are
at
about 4 users. I have tried to gain access when no one else was
connected.
Any ideas?
Thanks
