Hi Freddie,.
Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup!
I am sorry for the delayed response due to weekend. Please understand that
the newsgroups are staffed weekdays by Microsoft Support professionals to

greatly appreciated!
From your description, I understand that you want to manually install the
SBS shared fax client on the Windows 2000 workstations. If I am off base,
please don't hesitate to let me know.
To manually install the Shared fax client on workstation, you can run the
following command on workstation:
Windows 2000 client:
"\\%sbsserver%\FaxClient\setup.exe /w /s /v" REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn
PRINTER_NAME="\\%sbsserver%\Fax"
Windows XP client:
"sysocmgr.exe /u:"\\%sbsserver%\clietnapps\faxxp\fax_inst.inf" /r /q /n /i
"\\%sbsserver%\clientapps\faxxp\fax_master.inf"
Hope above information help. Please let me know if you have any question on
the issue. I am happy to be of assistance to you.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely,
Jenny Wu

I am still confused.
We had sbs2000 all the clients were able to see all faxes via the Fax
Console(XP and 2000 pcs)
we installed the sbs 2003 and gave ervery one full access on Faxes , I
problem with 2000 clients and Fax console.
I didnot use computer wizard to create the computer names but assign
application to computers. it seems like the Fax clients software is not
running on windows 2000.
can I install it manually, for windows 2000 clients?
all I need is to have all users able to see all faxes.
thanks freddie
