There's a Standard to Premium upgrade available that would give you ISA
2004. Maybe you could find another home for your copy of ISA 2000 (ebay?).

I hadn't actually intended to use a separate box so I'm glad for the heads
up. Essentially I purchased standard edition, but am not kicking myself
for
not having purchased premium and of course I just so happen to have the
older isa server 2000 lying around.

I hope you mean to install the ISA on another server or otherwise never

the CEICW again. I'm unsure of the result but would expect a problem if
the
Standard CEICW was run on a system which had standalone ISA on top of SBS
Standard. The Standard CEICW would, I believe, attempt to configure RRAS
NAT
which would interfere with the operation of a standalone ISA.
Note though, I haven't tried this. Been wrong before.

I don't have any specific knowledge of this, but since the "Premium
Technologies" (ISA and SQL) are basically an add-on to a Standard
install
anyway, I don't see any obstacle to installing a separately licensed
copy
of ISA. You won't have the wizard integration with the CEICW, so you'll
have to configure ISA manually. I'd give it a try - you can always
uninstall ISA if you run into unanticipated problems.

Hi all,
I have a licensed version of ISA Server 2000 that I've never used. Does
anyone know if it works and plays well with SBS 2003 standard edition ?
Thanks I advance
Robbie
