Re: ID 7011 from Srvc Cntrl Mgr during logon/offs

Unfortunately, I am still experiencing these hangs with accompanying
Service Control Manager 7011 error. Again, this occurs when I log in
or out of the server. This happens via remote web workplace and at the
console. The system connects or wakes up to the login screen just
fine, but after I type my PW and hit enter, the server becomes
unresponsive for about 30-60 seconds. No website or files can be
accessed during this time, and the servers re-drawing of the desktop
freezes. When websites or files are being accessed during this time,
no errors or 404s occur. The client simply has to wait and then things
proceed as normal.
What I have done thus far:
-there is no known antivirus software on the server. It has the
Windows Update Malicious Software Removal Tool, but that's it
-I ran across the NTFRS suggestion a few weeks ago. I performed the
steps to recreate that file, and it did, but the problem continued.
-many days and restarts after the previous step, and after posting to
you, I installed the update for SBS2003 SP1
-the servers network and NIC configuration was correct, w/ the
exception of it using my old ISPs DNS servers. I did change this to my
current ISP's DNS servers but there was no noticeable change.
-I ran both frsdiag and netdiag. I now have a bunch of log files.
Would you like me to send them to you? All of them?
I'm also running ISA 2004 w/ latest updates. Not sure if that has
any influence on this problem or not, but thought I'd mention it.
Please let me know what I should do next, or if I should re-do any of
the previous steps. Again, thank you for your time and effort in this
problem.
Mike
