Hello,
The command we are using in the backup preparation script now for the
tape library refresh is:
start /wait rsm.exe refresh /lf"Sony AIT 40 GB SCSI Drive"
Where Sony AIT 40 GB SCSI Drive is the Library name..
Now the media is mounted properly, but I0m experiencing another
problem, but I'm suspecting that this is a Sony AIT drive problem, and
not the OS (that is ntbackup) issue.
Hopefully, someone has some previous experience with this - I'm having
failure during backup caused with lack of space on the tape. This is
suspicious, since has 40 GB primary capacity, and the drive has
hardware compression.
So, after some investigation it turns out that the drive compression is
not enabled (Device manager), although it is in the settings of the
backup job.
Thanks for the replies.
Andrija.
