Hi Jordan,
Thanks for your information.
I. From your DCdiag log file, I find that it should be DNS replication
issue. For the windows 2003 server is an additional DC in the SBS domain
environment, the preferred DNS should be the internal IP address of the SBS
server box rather than itself. It is IP reports should be as follows:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit
Ethernet
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-14-22-7B-41-E8
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.3.192
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.3.181
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.192 (no 192.168.3.192)
Primary WINS Server . . . . . . . : 192.168.3.192
Then please force replication between two DC to replicate DNS information
and then please test to see if the issue is resolved.
For more detail information, you can refer to the following article:
Best practices for DNS client settings in Windows 2000 Server and in
Windows Server 2003

If the issue persists, please help me collect the following information:
1. Run command "repladmin /showrepl" (no quotation marks) and give me the
log files. If you have not install Windows Support Tools, you will not find
the utility. Please download the tools package and install it on your
server box.
The Windows 2003 Resource kit tools can be downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9d467a69-57ff-4ae7-
96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en
2. Please run the Winroute.exe tool on one Exchange 2003 Server in your
primary AG, and save the output as a file. For more info about how to use
Winroute.exe tool, please consult the following Knowledge Base article:
How to Use the WinRoute Tool
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;281382
3. Please enable SMTP logging on the exchange server in the branch office,
reproduce the issue and mail me the log file for analyze.
Enable SMTP logging:
Open the properties page of the Default SMTP Vitual Server in Exchange
System Manager.
On the General tab, check the "Enable logging" box.
Click Properties, click the Advanced tab and check all the boxes on the
list.
Click OK twice.
Stop and restart the SMTP virtual server.
Try reproducing the issue.
Stop the SMTP virtual server.
Go to the C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\SMTPSVC1 folder and upload the file
to the thread or mail it to me.
Please compress all files to a zip file and mail it to my working
mailbox:v-yanniw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I appreciate your time! I am happy to be of assistance to you.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely,
Jenny Wu
