Adding a windows 2003 server to a domain

Hi,
I have a domain that is run by an SBS2003 server without SP1
installed.. I now have a new Windows 2003 R2 Standard Server with SP1.
When I attempt to install the new server(w2k3 std) as a domain
controller I get the error message.
The operation failed because:
The Active Directory Installation Wizard cannot continue because the
forest is not prepared for installing Windows 2003. Use the Adprep
command-line tool to prepare both the forest and teh domain. For more
information using the Adprep, see Active Directory Help.
"The version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not
compatible with the version of Active Directory on this computer."
I've run adprep /forestprep adprep/domainprep and adprep /gppprep with
no problems using the w2k3 r2 standard cd. Is it the fact that sbs2003
doesn't have sp1 or can I simply not add a win2k3 r2 machine as a
domain controller to a domain controlled by sbs 2003?
Thanks in advance,
Jerome
.
