Re: Several things are broke after SP1 upgrade

Huh? That is for SBS sp1

http://msmvps.com/blogs/bradley/archive/2004/12/08/23029.aspx

842693 You receive a "HTTP 400 - Bad Request" error message when you try to
use the *Monitoring* and Reporting snap-in or the *Backup* snap-in on a Windows
Small Business Server 2003-based computer

Did you load .NET 2.0? And are these IIS sites using .NET 2.0 rather than the 1.1 they are supposed to?

Thanks Mariette,
I guess I should have specified that I installed SBS SP1 not Server 2003. It seems most of the issues in the great link apply to installing the non SBS version of SP1. Any other hints?

I have several problems after a SP1 upgrade but it looks like most are
pointing to an error in the server tools install.

Symptoms:
1) The following web sites give a HTTP 403 (Forbidden) error
- Company Web
-Remote Web Access
However, outlook web access works as does OMA.

2) From within the server management I get the following errors
- Launching the backup page, I get page not found error
- When I click on configure backup, I get a “unspecified
error” message
- In the server management console when I select setup client
computer I get windows cannot find 'scw'
-Setup client applications link returns cannot find extwiz.exe

3) When I rerun windows small business server setup, I find that
Intranet is not installed. When I try to install it, I get
“Intranet Depends on Server Tools which has an Install Problem
