cannot share attachments in outlook (SHAREPOINT RELATED)

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello all,

I have a problem shareing an attachment in outlook so it appears "document
workspace".

Problem:

I am logged in as a user with "contributor" and "Web designer" site group
memberships. When attempting to share an email attachment to the internal
company website it requests me to enter my username and password for that
user (which is configured correctly as a user in SBS 2003). However when
trying to log in it denies me access and hence I cannot share the attachment
to my document workspace as I cannot log onto the internal sharepoint
server.

Solution:

If I add "Administrator" to my site group memberships for that user when I
attempt the above the same username and password is now accepted and hence I
can share my attachments.

Question:

Surely I dont have to be "administrator" to do this? Does anyone have any
advice as I find this very weird behaviour.

Thanks in advance,

Timothy Cocaro
