Re: SBS CALs and MS SQL Server

no that is not correct
Your SBS cals would only cover SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition and ONLY
after SBS 2003 R2 is released. Under no circumstances would you be covered
for SQL Server 2005 Express

If you purchase SBS std, you must by SQL separately and you will need SQL
Cals

If you buy SBS premium now, you get SQL 2000 std edition now and your SBS
cals cover it.

Thanks to both of you for your valuable input. To reply to Cris, I am
indeed planning to install my MS SQL Server 2005 Express edition on the
SBS server.

If I rightly understood, provided I go for SBS Standard, I will have to
purchase SBS CAL only (and not SQL Server CAL) for each of my client
pc. Is that correct?
